(ANSA) - LONDON, MAY 19 - EasyJet, a British low cost airline, announced today that it had suffered on unspecified date "a sophisticated cyber attack" of origin per unknown hour through which names and data of 9 million were infiltrated of customers. The attack, reported to the authorities and to the coordination of the intelligence agencies of the United Kingdom, also allowed hackers to steal the credit card data of 2,208 users, who have been informed in the meantime. It takes place in the midst of the air carrier crisis triggered by the coronavirus. (HANDLE).
