The Surveillance magistrate of Milan revoked the house arrest for Francesco Bonura, a Palermo businessman convicted of mafia, in application of the anti-Mafia decree approved by the Council of Ministers on 9 May. The initiative was undertaken by the Penitentiary Administration Department of the Ministry of Justice.
The decision was determined by the instance after the decree of 10 May which gave Dap the power of initiative in indicating to the surveillance magistrates suitable health solutions to allow the return of the bosses released from prison for health reasons for health reasons. Bonura, sentenced to 20 in prison for mafia and very loyal to Bernardo Provenzano, was at the top of the list prepared last week by the deputy head of the Dap Roberto Tartaglia.
