As announced in recent weeks in Israel Today, the list of countries that we can fly without isolation as part of the pilot that is expected to be implemented in the coming weeks will probably include Greece, Cyprus, Montenegro, Georgia, and Austria, in addition to the five European countries, Seychelles is also expected to join the agreement .

There are currently no direct flights to Seychelles and it is expected that the airline that operated direct flights on the Tel Aviv line will return to Israel only during the summer. If the agreement is signed, there is a possibility that the company will take precedence over the operation of the flights, or that Israeli companies will jump at the opportunity and also operate special-purpose flights approximately six hours from Israel.

All other countries have direct flights operated by Israeli airlines in the past and will probably be the ones that will operate the flights now. At the same time, foreign airlines such as Austrian, Blue Bird, Ajian and Georgian Airways may appear to be joining flights on these routes.

Those who have been a significant part of the talks in recent weeks are the Czech Republic, Denmark and Norway that are currently off the list of countries we can fly from next month. It is quite possible that those countries along with other countries that will demonstrate a low morbidity and ability to cope with the spread of the virus will join the agreement in the next phase, a few weeks after the pilot begins.

At present, this is not a formal decision, the list of countries may change and there are several other countries that would like to enter into the prestigious agreement that allows a kind of free and safe passage for tourists.

An interesting question that arises in the wake of the coming agreement is what about the land crossing between the borders of the states. Austria is bordered by no less than seven countries, including Germany, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland, Slovenia, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Many countries in Europe have the possibility of free passage by car or public transport and right now there is no answer to this question.
