Recovered COVID-19 patients who test positive again do not infect, study finds

A study from South Korea showed that patients who tested positive again expelled non-infectious or dead virus particles.


In early May, the World Health Organization reported that some recovered coronavirus patients may retest positive. This, according to the organization, is due to a process in the lungs, and now, a new study from China has shown that some people recovered from the disease who return positive cannot transmit the infection.
