For two long months, we forgot them, abandoned them on our desks or in our deserted building halls. These green plants which usually adorn our meeting rooms or open spaces have passed containment without water or care. Little surprise then to find them all stunted, yellowed, dried out. If some people were tempted to throw them in the garbage, there may still be a way to save them.
This is what a young eco-responsible start-up, Merci Raymond, specializing in greenery and urban agriculture offers. From their office in the 11th arrondissement in Paris, these landscapers and gardeners have opened a free "plant hospital" to collect these damaged plants and give them new life. If the plants are still recoverable, they will spend several days, even several weeks in a larger workshop, in Ivry-sur-Seine, where gardeners can pamper them before finding their owners. Another option: Thank you Raymond buys the plants (depending on size and value, the purchase price can vary from 1 € to a few hundred euros), takes care of their maintenance and recycles them for street greening projects by example.
