(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 20 - "In the last 24 hours, 106,000 new cases of coronavirus have been reported to WHO, the highest number in a day since the pandemic began. Forty-thirds of these have been registered in only four countries". This was stated by WHO director Tedros AdhanomGhebreyesus, in the usual briefing on Covid-19, reiterating that "the road is still long".
