WHO, no evidence of hydroxychloroquine efficacy

"Hydroxychloroquine has not yet been proven to be effective against coronavirus. There are several studies, however, that warn about side effects." This was stated by WHO's Dr Mike Ryan in the usual Covid-19 briefing. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 20 - "It has not yet been proven that hydroxychloroquine is effective against coronavirus. Instead, there are several studies that warn of the collateral effects". WHO Dr Mike Ryan said this in the usual Covid-19 briefing. However, Ryan stressed that the health authorities of each country are free to choose the drugs to be used in the therapy against the virus.
