Göttingen - Attention! A salami snack is urgently being recalled at the Lidl discounter . Blue foil pieces could be found in the snack, as Lidl reports. It can therefore pose a health hazard.
The "Classic" salami snack "Dulano Delikatess Mini Salami Snack " is being recalled :
- Affected is the 250 gram pack with a best before date 31.05.2020,
- the lot number L2325031007 and
- the identification mark DE NI 10921 EG.
- The manufacturer is Schwarz Cranz GmbH & Co. KG.
Lidl expressly warns against consuming the salami snack sausages packed in an airtight bowl.
Recall from Lidl: Salami snack can lead to internal injuries
The blue foil pieces that may be contained in the salami snack could lead to internal injuries in the mouth, throat or esophagus. In the worst case, this can cause internal bleeding.
Affected by the recall at Lidl: This salami snack from Dulano is being recalled because there may be plastic film in the product - there is a risk of injury.

Lidl has since withdrawn the salami snack affected by the urgent recall. The salami snack affected by the recall was sold in these federal states:

- Brandenburg
- Saxony
- Saxony-Anhalt
- Thuringia

Anyone who has bought the salami snack in the discounter can return it to all Lidl branches. The purchase price will be reimbursed by the discounter - even without presenting a receipt as proof of purchase.
As Lidl reports, only the salami snack mentioned is affected by the recall . Other products from the manufacturer Schwarz Cranz GmbH & Co. KG pose no danger. The manufacturer apologizes for the recall of the salami snack to Lidl customers.
Recall: Listeria in cheese - consumption can harm health
Lidl is not the only supermarket that is currently recalling a product. Alnatura's organic chickpeas are also currently being recalled. The reason: they could contain fragments of glass that can pose a health hazard.
A cheese from Switzerland is affected by another recall. Consumption can be harmful to health and even life threatening. Listeria may be present in the food.
