Rimini is populated by people during the first weekend with the reopening of bars and pubs and from today also of the beaches. Thanks to the good weather, many people from Rimini have reached the promenade and the beach, where, however, there are still no umbrellas and deck chairs due to the delay in the works of the factories.
In some areas of the beach, bulldozers are being used to pave the sand. Some people lay the sheets where it happens, others dribble on the shore, as the playing fields are closed.

In the Marche, the bathing season starts on May 29, but today, the day of the start of the first weekend after the lockdown, "is the first Saturday in which we feel the taste of normalcy". Gianluigi Tombolini, mayor of Numana, says it, one of the most beautiful places on the Conero Riviera. "A beautiful day - he insists - a pre-test of the start of the bathing season, next Friday". Until then the beaches are open but only for individual walks, without swimming, bivouacs or being able to lie down for sunbathing. "We have never loosened the controls - Tombolini underlines - but people are doing well. We had to close some difficult roads to monitor in the past weekends, I thank the prefect of Ancona Antonio D'Acunto, who listened to our reasons". Meanwhile, requests for reservations for summer "from all over Italy, but especially from the north" are arriving in Numana. "Above all, rented houses are required, where it is easier to observe security measures. But we have no problems for hotels, which are popular hotels with us, often with few rooms. And of course not even for camping sites, which have large spaces and a lot of greenery as we are in the Conero Park ".

First weekend after the lockdown and the inhabitants of the central eastern coast of Sardinia, for the first time in the season, shyly look out to the beaches, where families with children peek out. The wide coasts that stretch for kilometers, from Ogliastra to Baronia to lower Gallura, seem to guarantee - at least for now - the social distancing required by the coronavirus emergency: "We have a very long coast that allows natural distancing even in crowded seasons - it has told the ANSA the mayor of Orosei Nino Canzano - This morning the first bathers begin to be seen in all our beaches, where to ensure a good presence, we asked the Region to double the staff of the Local Police and rescue services to sea". "We are monitoring the situation but today there are not large numbers on our beaches - remarked Mayor of Posada Roberto Tola - We will hire 54 volunteers to manage our beaches". "With us, the beach is the safest place to stay - added the mayor of Bari Sardo Ivan Mameli - Residents began to position themselves along the coast this morning without any kind of problem".

With the opening of this morning of the first four establishments ('Blue Moon' of Venezia Spiagge, 'Pachuka', 'Paradiso' and 'Alla Diga / Kuyaba'), in addition to the free beach close to the former Ospedale al Mare, it has the summer season has officially started on the Lido of Venice, the beach of the lagoon capital. "The not particularly sunny day did not help us - comments Sebastian Perini, director of Venezia Spiagge, the company of the Municipality of Venice that manages the longest stretch of the beach - but we can finally say that the first people entered the Blue Moon and that therefore the season is slowly fueling ". Venezia Spiagge also manages the former 'Zone A' and the beach of San Nicolò, equipped with the typical Lido huts, whose opening is instead set for Friday 29 May. The 'Blue Moon', until a couple of years ago a free beach, is instead equipped with umbrellas. "The precautions taken to avoid coronavirus infection - continues Perini - are working and already a couple of daily users have asked us if there is also the possibility of a subscription for a longer period". At the 'Blue Moon', Venezia Spiagge has guaranteed for each umbrella a safety space of 5 meters by 5 and a half meters, adding vertically, between one row and another, a meter of walkway to access the water: respect to also allow people to move within the sector. Gradually, all the factories will open at the Lido, even if a decision has not yet been communicated by the Sab, which manages the historic 'ex Ciga' beaches of the 'Des Bains' of the' Excelsior 'and of the' Quattro Fontane '. In Sottomarina, however, the start of swimming in the sea will still have to wait. As the Municipality has clarified, the beaches of Chioggia will in fact be accessible until mid-June only for heliotherapeutic use, remaining closed to bathing as the rescue service is not guaranteed.

Shores still closed but numerous landings in Ischia, in the last 24 hours. According to the Coast Guard data, in fact, 2,000 people arrived yesterday and at least another 350 this morning; many are non-domiciled residents on the green island and owners of second homes. From next Monday, maritime connections will also increase significantly, with 6 more trips per day with ferry boats from the port of Pozzuoli. The beach operators, meanwhile, are working to adapt the shores to the regional health protocols and plan to reopen for the middle of June; in Ischia Porto, for free beaches, the Municipality is defining the system of reservations, distancing and protected routes to allow a safe swimming season. From June 16 the Giardini La Mortella will reopen, the botanical park curated by Russell Page among the most renowned in southern Italy.
