(ANSA) - BEIJING, MAY 24 - China is "open" to international cooperation and efforts to identify the source of the Covid-19 pandemic. Speaking at a press conference, the Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, however, specified the need for the investigation to be "free from political interference" and based on "scientific motivations". On this point, Wang harshly criticized the efforts of US politicians aimed at "creating voices" on the origin of the coronavirus and "stigmatizing China".
