Coronavirus in France: slight increase in the number of hospitalized patients

In all, 17,185 people are currently being treated in a hospital establishment after being infected, including 121 new admissions recorded in the last 24 hours. It's seven more than Saturday. The first increase recorded since April 14.

Of all these patients, 1655 are currently being taken into the intensive care unit. It is 46 less than the day before (1701). Within 24 hours, 24 new serious cases were admitted.

After several confusions in recent days, the Directorate General of Health was unable to communicate the updated mortality data during this weekend. According to Santé Publique France, this figure rose to 28,332 deaths on Saturday. The next update is expected on Monday.
