"Valorant" offline from today: When will it continue?

Many "Valorant" fans have been eagerly awaiting the closed beta of Riot Games' new tactical shooter. But the access for this was severely limited * and not everyone could test the game themselves. For many "Valorant" fans, Riot Games has had good news recently. The developers have surprisingly announced the release of the full version - and the launch date is very soon. Until then, players have to be patient - the beta participants can no longer play.

Accordingly, "Valorant *" will be released on June 2, 2020 . Many probably expected a later release, since Riot previously spoke about releasing the shooter in the summer. So everyone can soon plunge into the tactical battles at "Valorant". The beta phase ends on May 28 at 6 p.m. * and the game will be offline for a few days after that .

After the release of the full version, some new content should be added. The Riot press release states that, among other things, a new game mode , a map and an additional agent will be integrated into the game. In the months after, more and more new content should be added. Contrary to the current trend towards Battle Royale , "Valorant" does not use the popular mode - however, the fact that this will be integrated at some point cannot be ruled out.

"Valorant" is a free Free2Play game

The Tactic Shooter is a Free2Play game . This means that the title can be downloaded and played completely free of charge. In the in-game shop, cosmetic items can be bought for real money - such as new designs for weapons.

A Riot account is  required to play. In addition, the anti-cheat program Vanguard must be installed and activated in order to play "Valorant". However, this was recently criticized * because it intervenes deeply in the operating systems of the users - but Riot is working on adapting the tool based on the criticisms of the players.
