Long-awaited, takeoff of the first manned capsule created by the company SpaceX will finally have to wait a few more days. The launch of Crew Dragon made by SpaceX for NASA was finally postponed due to bad weather in Florida, 17 minutes before the scheduled takeoff time.
The two astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley will attempt a new takeoff on Saturday at 3:22 p.m. (7:22 p.m. French time) for the International Space Station.
Donald and Melania Trump were present to attend the takeoff of this 100% American capsule which should mark a renewed autonomy of the United States vis-à-vis the Russians.
Since 2011, Americans have used Russian shuttles to join the ISS. Funded at more than three billion dollars by NASA, SpaceX would be the first private company to send men into space if the mission succeeds.
