Besides Sonic, the whole production is making a comeback. Present in the first part, director Jeff Fowler as well as the scriptwriting duo Pat Casey and Josh Miller are also present. On the casting side, the interpreter of the little hedgehog Ben Schwartz was delighted with the announcement and also seems ready for this new race. However, there remains a gray area as for the return of Jim Carrey or James Marsden.

Still without a script, the sequel to Sonic Le Film should nonetheless bounce back on the introduction of Tails in the post-generic scene of the first installment. As a reminder, the character made his debut in Sonic 2 on Mega Drive in 1992. Dr. Robotnick, isolated on another planet (full of giant mushrooms!), Could also return.
This sequel is however a half surprise.
