The explosive phase produced a volcanic ash cloud that reached 4,500 meters high and is dispersed in a south-west direction. The phenomenon, according to Ingv-Oedi Catania, after three hours had a sharp decrease with the emission of ash confined throughout the summit area of ​​the volcano.
