Over the weekend, there have been quite a few criticisms from aviation industry officials that the Ministry of Health is "not counting" them, and delayed making the decision irresponsibly. Now, speaking to senior health officials, they say that there is a neat plan that the sky is expected to be partially opened as early as July.

According to details reached by "Israel Today", the pending agreement will include several countries from the list that has already been published. It is currently unclear whether it will be decided to open the sky to a long list of countries or only to some in the first phase, but what is clear is the fact that the Ministry of Health is conditional on the agreement not to include corona tests before or after the flight. "We will not sign an agreement under which there is a condition for corona testing," the officials stressed.

Countries on the list are: Cyprus, Greece, Austria, Seychelles, Slovenia, Georgia, Croatia, Malta, Montenegro and South Korea, which is the main attraction of the list. All the countries mentioned in the list are in excellent condition in terms of infection rates and the level of morbidity and the agreements that lie with them will not include as mentioned Corona tests.

The details are obtained shortly after Hadassah Hospital offered to issue a "medical passport" aimed at checking passengers before or after the flight, thus making sure that they are not sick in Corona. The Ministry of Health eliminates any possibility of cooperation with the hospital's move, emphasizing that the isolation obligation for returnees from abroad outside the pending agreements will not be canceled in any way and make it clear that the tests are not a substitute for isolation.

At the same time, many airlines are expected to return the lines to Israel already this month, even before the cancellation of the isolation obligation from some countries. Over the weekend, Austrian and Brussels announced the operation of the routes as of June 15, Air Canada is expected to start regular flights this coming weekend and with many other airlines. Wizair announced the opening of another line from Milan to Tel Aviv.
