(ANSA) - ROME, JUNE 1 - The decrease in the number of people infected with coronavirus continues, according to the data of the Civil Protection: today they are 233.197, with an increase of 178 cases (lowest figure since February 26th). Yesterday the increase was 355. In Lombardy there are 50 more (yesterday 210), equal to 28% of the total. Six regions communicate new infected: Marche, Sicily, Umbria, Molise, Calabria and Basilicata. There are 41,367 sick people, 708 less than yesterday, when the drop had been 1,616. The number of victims also drops, which is 60 against 75 yesterday. In Lombardy there are 19, yesterday there were 33. The total death toll rises to 33,475. Noveregioni do not register victims: Veneto, Marche, Sicily, Trentino Alto Adige, Umbria, Valle d'Aosta, Calabria, Molise and Basilicata. The healed and discharged rise to 158,355, with an increase of 848. The increase had been 1,874 on Sunday. Intensive care 424 patients remain, 11 less than yesterday. Hospitalized patients with symptoms are 6,099, with a drop of 288, home isolation are 34,844, with a drop of 409.
