Who sparked the protest against Doha Lippa was flooded with messages but "regrets nothing" • That's what would have made him fight alongside IDF soldiers | global

The American photographer who sparked a network protest against Dua Lippa after sharing his anti-Israeli post and was subsequently swamped with "not regretting anything" hate speech • That's what made him fight alongside IDF soldiers

The protest continues: After sparking a riot on the net when he posted a hateful anti-Israeli post on Saturday and British singer Doha Lippa published it on her page, American photographer Vin Arpusso refuses to let go.

• "Hummingbird": Doha Lippa v. IDF

Arpuso, whose post became the talk of the day following the Doha Lippa story yesterday (Sunday) and sparked nervous protest from Israeli and Jewish fans, made another post last night stating: "I don't regret anything."

"After receiving about 600 messages of death threats from tough Israeli soldiers and another 1,000 negative messages from the hottest Israeli women I have encountered, I want to say that I am behind my post," Arpuso said in a post.

"Nevertheless, it is important to emphasize that not every soldier in the IDF does the same. Every citizen in the country is forced to recruit, with most recruits being wonderful people who agree with me and millions more that the occupation of Palestinian civilians and land is not for the benefit of the people of Israel as well.

"Anti-Semitism is absolutely real," he continued, "and unfortunately it is also in the US and Europe (in increasing numbers - not least because of the actions of the Israeli government that Israeli citizens are protesting against themselves).

"Know that if things were reversed, I would write this post for you," he declared. "If the Israeli army had come to the United States to fight Hitler-backed swastika supporters, I would have fought alongside you."

Ending the post with a spicy message: "I want to thank the wonderful citizens of Israel who sent me messages and opened a channel for dialogue that I hope will continue. Whoever threatens me, I'm really scared of you. Please don't hurt me and be nice to me. Love, Vin."

As in the previous post, this time Arpuso also deliberately blocked the possibility of responding, but this did not prevent thousands of Palestinian, Jewish and Israeli skiers alike from flooding his previous posts with reactions to and against Israel.

In Israel, as mentioned, the post caused a lot of turmoil after being co-authored by Doha Lippa (and then also by Gigi Hadid), when hundreds of angry surfers expressed themselves strongly against the British singer and called her boycott.

"Brainwashed and suckling," Yoav Eliasi called it "The Shadow" in a tens of thousands of likes, and Eden Pines added in her story: "Someone inspires you, you live in a movie. How much I love you as an artist, how much I don't appreciate you as a human being. Me but you lost me sister. "
