Today we report that the agreement with South Korea is currently frozen and now that Japan is entering the picture, it is important to note that this is a very preliminary stage.

According to the information we have, the Foreign Ministry wants to sign agreements with countries that, at the same time as Israelis' departure, can also provide inbound tourism to Israel. Japan meets the demands of decision makers and the matter with the Japanese is under review. Japan's morbidity rates are among the lowest in the world in terms of population size, in Japan fewer people are infected than in Israel, and in Japan there are about 125 million residents.

Sources involved in the decision-making point out, "It is important for inbound tourism to be measured and such that it can be tracked. If we open the sky to countries that bring tourists masses here and we cannot visit the situation at any given time, we will be in trouble."

The sky is expected to open on July 1 and as of now, there are almost closed agreements with several countries: Greece, Cyprus, Georgia, Slovenia, Seychelles, Montenegro, Croatia, Lithuania and Austria is expected to be part of the agreement with the State of Israel.

Another country that is expected to join agreements with the State of Israel is Germany. At present, the situation in Germany is not good, but the pace of the epidemic and low mortality rates mean that there are talks with the Germans as well, with a view to allowing tourists to move between countries later.
