We did not expect such a news: Michael E. and Larry, owner of the Irish lucoste Rainier, announced Monday that the company will sell airline tickets at less than half what we have become accustomed to buying so far to compete with other airlines and offer the cheapest prices on the market.
The owner of the airline was interviewed by the British media and stated that the company would sell airline tickets at a loss and all in order to attract passengers to fly with them. Low prices are expected to take effect in the coming months and next year.
The airline understands that the day after Corona, the airlines will have to battle every passenger. Some companies will do this through exclusive services and some will have to lower prices and, as it seems, they will be even lower than we have known to date.

Remember, Rainair operated flights for 5 euros in the direction of Tel Aviv to Paphos and several dozen euros from Tel Aviv without a few destinations across Europe including Berlin, Budapest, Rome and more. After what the owner of the company said, it will be interesting to see how the airline will price its lines from Israel and how other companies will operate to win the difficult battle that is expected for the airlines.
Rainier is expected to start flights from Israel soon without a few destinations. The company will return to operate flights to 90% of its destinations with activity volume of about 40%. From Tel Aviv, the company is expected to operate flights to Berlin, Vienna, Budapest and other destinations. Currently, anyone entering Israel is required to be in solitary confinement for two weeks and therefore it is not advisable to book tickets and hope for the best - the Ministry of Health has not yet officially announced when the solicitation obligation will be canceled and from which countries.
