Migrants tracked down on the Karst of Trieste

(ANSA) - TRIESTE, JUNE 1 - This morning, police officers from the border police tracked around sixty migrants in the area of ​​SanDorligo della Valle (Trieste), on the Karst plateau. The group, made up of only men - all of Afghan nationality - including some minors, was taken over by the Border Police and Polmare and conducted to Fernetti for the photo-signaling operation and for the usual medical triage by the 118 staff called on the spot . The migrants - all of whom were in good health conditions - were transported to the reception facilities identified by the Prefecture, in order to be able to spend the surveillance period provided for by the Covid-19 regulation.
