Vanessa Bryant shared a photo of Kobe Bryant in protest of the racist acts that take place in the world, after the unjust death of George Floyd.

Like many celebrities, Vanessa Bryant reacted to George Floyd's death , and took to social media to share a photo of the late Kobe Bryant with an emotional message.

After Floyd's unfortunate death, which shocked the world, Kobe Bryant's widow spoke out against the racist acts taking place in the world.

In the photograph, the former player can be seen wearing a shirt with the caption, "I can't breathe," which refers to the last words used by the African-American man who died at the hands of a white policeman named  Derek Chauvin.

Vanessa joined the protests to fight for change, just as the former Los Lakers star previously did.

"My husband used this shirt a few years ago and now we are here again. Life is very fragile and unpredictable. Life is very short and the best we can do is accept and share the differences and similarities that we have as people" wrote the mother of four at the bottom of the postcard.

"We must teach respect and love for people, at home and in schools. We can be an example of the changes we want to see," he continued.

"Expel hatred," he said. "Teach respect and love to everyone at home and at school. Spread love. Fight for change, register to vote. Don't use innocent lives lost as an excuse to loot. Be an example of the change we want to see. #BLACKLIVESMATTER ", ended.

The Bryant family has always condemned racist acts in the United States, both this time and that time, when Kobe protested another police brutality towards an African American.

The photo shared by the basketball player's wife was taken in July 2014, when Kobe raised his voice over the death of Eric Garner , who like Floyd, his last words were "I can't breathe."

The famous 38-year-old's publication reached over 1.6 million likes , and more than 15,000 comments from people coming together in support of the African-American community.

In another publication, Bryant's widow shared an image in which she mentions that as long as "things are not fixed in the heart, and practiced in the homes, the world will not have the expected change."

Floyd, 46, died after a white police officer held him by the neck with his knee for more than seven minutes. The officer, Derek Chauvin, has been charged with murder and third-degree involuntary manslaughter along with the other police officers who witnessed and supported his action.

After Floyd's death, celebrities are using their platforms, influence, and resources to talk about police brutality, racism, white privilege in the United States, and the systemic oppression facing the black community.

Last Saturday, Chrissy Teigen pledged to donate $ 200,000 to fund protesters across the country. Other celebrities who also publicized their donations were Steve Carell , Seth Rogan , and Kehlani .

Celebrities like Jamie Foxx , Porsha Williams , Kendrick Sampson , Halsey, and many others, also took to the streets in Los Angeles and Atlanta to protest in support of the Black Lives Matter movement .
