At the initiative of several associations, including SOS Racisme, dozens of people gathered in front of the United States embassy in Paris. Together they got down on their knees to denounce "a racist crime" and to pay tribute to George Floyd, an African-American who died during a muscular arrest led by four white police officers, in Minneapolis.
Hundreds of thousands of people demonstrate against police violence and racism in the United States. A curfew has been imposed in cities like Washington, Minneapolis, Los Angeles and Houston.
