"Fledgling Heros" was originally an exclusive title for Apple's Apple Arcade gaming subscription. Now the motley game of skill is also available for Nintendo's hybrid console Switch.
Berlin (dpa / tmn) - This game has a bird. No, to be honest there are a whole bunch of pretty colorful and weird birds in "Fledgling Heroes". And one of these feathered friends has to guide players through numerous dangerous levels that are hand-drawn according to the manufacturer.
Gold coins have to be collected and dodged dangerous enemies. Special and time-limited special skills are always available, such as roll attacks or gliding.
Fluttering through the Caribbean, jungle and Co.
The over 90 levels of "Fledgling Heroes" are all designed differently, sometimes players flutter as a parrot through a Caribbean landscape full of grim pirates. Then again a kingfisher buzzes through ancient Maya ruins in South America. However, some levels are pure races against time. The important thing here is to get through a pre-drawn route as quickly as possible and collect as many gold coins as possible. A game for people with quick reflexes.
For creative minds
If the variety of levels is not enough, you can create challenging levels with the help of a level editor. As you know from games like "Super Mario Maker 2", these can be shared online with other players. For this, players have to book Nintendo Switch Online (20 euros / year). If you don't like to play alone, you can go on an adventure with another player in co-op mode.
"Fledgling Heros" will be released on May 7th for Nintendo Switch and costs 7.59 euros. If you don't have a switch, you can also play via iPhone, iPad or Mac, for which you need an Apple Arcade subscription for 4.99 euros per month.
