(ANSA) - ROME, JUNE 02 - Ceremony at the altar of the Fatherland, without the traditional parade, for the highest offices of the State on the occasion of the Republic Day. The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, the Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, the Presidents of the Chamber and Senate Roberto Fico and Maria Elisabetta Casellati went to the Altare della Patria to pay homage to the June 2 party. The president of the Constitutional Court Marta Cartabia was also present. Because of the emergency Covid was a ceremony with few present this year: dozens of onlookers remained to assist to the passage of the Frecce Tricolori at the beginning of Venice, at the intersection with via del Corso, greeting Mattarella at the passage of the procession of presidential cars .
