The pm of Lecco Laura Siani died at home

(ANSA) - LECCO, JUNE 2 - The substitute prosecutor LauraSiani, 44 years old, in service at the Procura di Lecco from last spring, was found last night in her home in Lecco. According to the first findings, the most plausible hypothesis with the circumstances seems to be that of a voluntary gesture. She was the daughter of the well-known musician Dino Siani, who passed away in 2017 and known to the general public, as well as sister of Giorgio Siani, former mayor of Mandello del Lario.
   Before arriving in Lecco she had been on duty in Palermo and before again in Lodi. The body was found last night reporting a neighbor. The chief prosecutor Antonio Chiappani intervened with his closest collaborators and carabinieri. The public prosecutor Laura Siani, a native of Sesto San Giovanni (Milan), had worked on important investigations during the service to the Public Prosecutor of Lodes, such as the one on the auction disturbance that had involved public administrators of the city of Lodigiano and led in 2016 to the arrest of the then Mayor of the Pd Simone Uggetti.
