Second-hand watchmaking luxury is constantly gaining ground on the Net. It seems that the closure of almost all the watch shops of the planet during the pandemic has further accelerated the online passion for beautiful watches. The specialized online sales site Chrono 24, which receives 9 million visits per month worldwide, notably in France, has just unveiled its latest report on the purchase and sale of vintage watches online in the light of coronavirus. Chrono24 is available in 22 languages and 150 countries, and France is its fifth largest market.
According to his figures, if the level of interest in collectible watches on the Net has returned to its level before the Covid-19 epidemic, now is the time for negotiation, even if the sellers defend their prices.
