(ANSA) - ROME, JUNE 4 - Prince Charles recounted for the first time his experience with the coronavirus which hit him slightly in March.
"I was lucky. I got away fairly easily, but I had it and I can understand what the sick people are going through," the heir to the throne confessed, expressing his closeness to those who lost relatives and friends because of Covid-19.
"In particular to those who could not be close to their loved ones at the time of death. This, for me, is the most horrible thing," continues Carlo who says he is "determined to find a solution to prevent other people from being hit." Which? "Putting nature at the center of our economies," explains the 71-year-old prince who has been committed to the environmental cause for years. If we do not learn from the pandemic, it is the message of Queen Elizabeth's eldest son, we may find ourselves faced with another such threat in the future.
