(ANSA) - TURIN, JUNE 04 - The Unipol Group has donated € 200,000 to the Martini hospital in Turin, where there is one of the main offices of the insurance company. The resources, destined in particular to the Intensive Care Unit directed by Mauro Navarra, are used for the purchase of equipment for the protection and management of the patient to guarantee and facilitate the work of doctors and health workers.
These instruments - explains a note from the Unipol Group - will support the hospital's activities also in the future, after the Covid19 emergency.
"No word, no comment can give the right recognition to all the hospital staff of the Martini Hospital who carried out their work in this dramatic period with humanity, professionalism and self-sacrifice, saving human lives - underlines the insurance company -. It can be even wrong to call them heroes, term which underlines a component of exceptionality. Instead, it is in everyday life that doctors, nurses, cleaners have operated and operate, with professionalism and humility, experiencing the success of a healing as their personal success ".
