(ANSA) - ROME, JUNE 06 - A new operator of shared electric scooters officially arrives in Rome: it's Dott, a European company that this morning launched a fleet of 1000 vehicles in Piazza diSpagna together with the mayor Virginia Raggi. in the street. Dr's mobility, it was explained, wants to be accessible to everyone. For this reason, in addition to the standard rate, Pay per ride, (1 euro unlock + 0.19 cents per minute), two types of packages have been developed designed for those who use this service with regularity: free unlock, package of 2.99: 100 free unlocks, valid for 7 days, ePass 4 journeys, package of 5.99: 4 journeys with unlocking and 15 minutes each included, valid for 3 days. The management of the fleet is entrusted to internal staff, suitably trained and ready to move around the city, not limiting themselves to the daily positioning of the fleet on the road, going further, making sure that the vehicles remain in the operating area and integrate into the urban context. Scooters are rented via the app: from the map, search for the nearest vehicle, reach it, frame the QR code, decide which offer is right for you and leave for the proper ride. Dott can be taken from Ponte Milvio to Ostiense station, from the Vatican to Piazza Fiume. "For us who are a European company, being in Rome has a symbolic and not only commercial value - said the general manager of Dott, AndreaGiaretta - Here we want to create a long-term ecosystem, we want to be still here in 5-10 years. We want to revitalize and strengthen even neighborhood life, enriching it with the last mile mobility ". "It is not an absurd means as many want to believe - the commissioner of the City in Movement Pietro Calabrese wanted to underline - but rather one of those that best suits the city. They have small dimensions, do not pollute, they can be used with agility. We are putting ourselves maximum commitment and Rome has acquired a credibility that was a little lost: it is appalling to say that they are not the mezziche they are not needed ". (HANDLE).
