How I waited for it. I didn't even know there was such a project, but I expected that someone would finally pick up the glove and make a good, high-quality corona series - which is another of ours, so excellent at all.

At HOT, the glove was raised and produced 13 short films during the closure period with some of the most prominent filmmakers in the industry, under very simple conditions. Each film stands on its own and presents a different situation related to Corona. The films are well written and feature scenes that give an authentic feel and are therefore easily sucked into them. In the first film of Maor Zagori, which aired last night, Tikva Gideon plays the role herself. Just after winning "Big Brother" she leaves the studio for a quiet outside and a new and unfamiliar world. No fans out there and no flashes of photographers. No cars on the road and no ability to enjoy and celebrate her winning. Outside of the studio, a taxi driver is waiting for her by a religious driver, who is playing Rand Rand. The trip of the two brings hope to racism and the ugly reality that, despite the corona and danger hovering over everyone equally, is still alive and kicking.

Tikva is surprisingly good for her acting abilities and the level of credibility reserved for veteran players. She slides into the role with ease and radiates tremendous security and presence. She has a strong face and a penetrating look, and it seems that the whole world can collapse and stay firm. Rand margins also exhibit excellent acting abilities, and together they create the perfect conflict. The other films also manage to kick in the stomach and bring to the screen dilemmas that, due to the closure and the corona, are only intensified. These days, when civilians are crying out for their pain and asking that they only let them make a living, "100 meters away" only highlights how much culture is needed here and how important its contribution is.
