A total of 29,346 deaths have been reported in the country since March 1, including 18,962 people in hospitals. The data on deaths in social and medico-social establishments will be updated by Santé publique France on June 16.

11,465 people are hospitalized for a COVID-19 infection (vs 13,101 a week ago on 04/06) and 143 new admissions were registered in 24 hours (vs 195 on 04/06).

903 patients with a severe form of COVID-19 are hospitalized in intensive care 26 new serious cases were admitted in intensive care. The balance remains negative in intensive care, with 30 patients of COVID-19 less compared to Wednesday. 4 regions (Ile-de-France, Grand-Est, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Hauts-de-France) account for 73% of patients hospitalized in intensive care.
