Berlin (dpa / tmn) - A summer day is only really perfect when you are sitting in the garden or on the balcony and can enjoy licking an ice cream. Why not turn your favorite dessert into ice?

For me it is the tiramisu that turns into tiramisu ice cream. Practically frozen in a box shape, it can then be perfectly sliced ​​for serving. But be careful, it can be addictive!

Of course, amateur cooks who have an ice cream machine have the advantage. Then the result is even looser, fluffier and creamier. But the delicious ice poem also works without technical aids. Then you have to stir by hand every 60 minutes.

Ingredients for a box shape (30 cm x 11.5 cm):

150 ml milk,

100 ml cream,

250 g mascarpone,

1 tsp vanilla extract,

50 g sugar,

1 packet of bourbon vanilla sugar,

100 g sponge biscuits (approx. 12 pieces, or more if the shape is larger),

100 ml strong, cold coffee,

Cocoa powder for baking

Equipment:

Box mold, baking paper, ice machine

Preparation:

1. Whisk milk, cream, vanilla extract, mascarpone and both types of sugar in a bowl and pour into an ice cream maker.

2. Approx. Freeze for 1 hour in the ice cream maker.

3. Line the baking tin with the baking paper.

4. Put a layer of ice cream in the crate, spread biscuits on top and drizzle with a little coffee.

5. Pour the rest of the ice cream over it and then completely cover with the remaining ladyfingers. Drizzle with coffee and freeze completely in the freezer for at least 3 hours.

6. If there is no ice machine, prepare the ice cream as described above, freeze it and stir it with a fork every hour to avoid crystal formation. Then continue in the same way.

7. Before serving, place the ice cream on a plate, loosen the baking paper and sprinkle with the baking cocoa. Cut into slices and serve on plates.
