(ANSA) - MONTEVIDEO, JUNE 12 - Contagions from Covid-19 in Latin America have passed the one and a half million mark, according to an AFP agency count. The most affected country is Brazil, which has exceeded 800,000 cases and 40,000 deaths, with an impressive increase of 100,000 reports in the last three days. For days, the coronavirus pandemic in Latin America has undergone a sharp surge, with a daily number of infections ranging between 35,000 and 50,000, and with at least 1,200- 1,500 deaths.
