EA is launching the new "Star Wars" game "Squadrons" today with a trailer. Watch the presentation here in the livestream.

There is probably no film franchise with as many video game adaptations as for "Star Wars *". Electronic Arts recently announced another title - " Star Wars Squadrons ". The announcement came after a first teaser image was unintentionally revealed early in the Xbox store. It is unclear whether EA would have introduced the game at this point in time without this unintended leak. A first trailer for "Star Wars Squadrons" is shown today. Not much is known about the game at the moment. The sentence " Pilots wanted ", the teaser picture and the title "Squadrons" already reveal that this is a pilot game in which the players get into the cockpit of an X-Wing , TIE-Fighter or other spacecraft from the "Star Wars" universe set. EA Releases More Star Wars Games
There were relatively few "Star Wars" games in the 2010s. In addition to " Battlefront " and " Battlefront 2 " and the " Lego Star Wars " parts, EA has almost neglected the franchise. In addition, the publisher has not made itself popular with gamers due to the entire micro transactions. With " Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order " at the latest , EA has shown that there is another way. Instead of focusing on multiplayer with loot boxes, the latter title only had a single player mode and no additional content that had to be bought separately.
