Celebrities react to Supreme Court ruling in favor of LGBTQ + community

The Supreme Court decided to protect gay and trans employees from discrimination. Ellen DeGeneres, Taylor Swift and more celebrities celebrated the ruling.


This Monday, the United States Supreme Court ruled that no employee may be fired for their sexual orientation or gender identity. Immediately, celebrities such as Busy Philipps , Mandy Moore and Karlie Kloss , among many others, used their social networks to demonstrate about it.

This action was rated "historic" by Ellen DeGeneres , a woman who changed television for the LGBTQ + community .

Through her Twitter account, the 62-year-old presenter shared the announcement made by the Human Rights Campaign, an organization that has always worked in favor of a world in which LGBTQ + people are guaranteed equality at home, in work and in all communities.
