With an account balance of 500 euros or more, there is no entitlement to the grant, below which it is calculated in stages. For example, if you still have 200 euros in your account, you can receive 300 euros in bridging help for the month of the application, the AFP news agency also reported.

According to a survey by the Deutsches Studierendenwerk, before the spread of the Corona virus, around two thirds of the students had a part-time job to finance their studies, as Stern.de also reports. However, many of these jobs, for example in the catering trade, have now disappeared.
