(ANSA) - ASCOLI PICENO, JUNE 15 - Carabinieri executed an order for pre-trial detention in prison issued by the investigating magistrate of Ascoli Piceno against a nurse already serving at the RSA of Offida, investigated for eight premeditated volunteer homicides and 4 attempted premeditated murders to the detriment of elderly guests of the facility, which took place between January 2017 and February 2019. Facts that man would have committed undue administration of drugs (promazine, insulin, anticoagulants) for doses and / or types not foreseen and contraindicated and with abuse of powers and violation of duties related to the function of nurse. According to the Prosecutor's Office in the RSA of Offida there have been twice the deaths compared to the other 2 structures in the area. The investigations had started in the autumn of 2018 from the reporting of an Oss to the carabinieri.
