Parcoursup: the complementary phase begins Tuesday

2020-06-16T14:24:35.297Z

From 2 p.m., candidates who have received only negative responses to their wishes, or who are "on hold" for all their wishes

The additional procedure is intended for candidates who have not yet received a firm proposal for admission to the Parcoursup higher education access platform. From Tuesday June 16 at 2 p.m., these people will be able to consult the courses registered in the complementary phase and formulate up to 10 new wishes. The list of courses offering places will be updated every day.

The main phase of admission continues, with the complementary procedure in parallel, where all the places still available in higher education are listed, the Ministry of Higher Education said on Monday in a press release.

A progress update scheduled from June 29 to July 1

Despite the health context and the very partial reopening of high schools, support for candidates "continues", ensures the ministry. For those who have not definitively accepted a proposal, a progress point is scheduled from June 29 to July 1.

From July 2, applicants who have not yet received an admission proposal will also be contacted by telephone by the Parcoursup teams.

They will be able to request the support of higher education access commissions (CAES) which organize "individual support to help candidates find the training most suited to their project", underlines the ministry.
