After weeks where we often heard about dates when we were already supposed to be spending time in various destinations abroad, now it appears that some of the destinations are moving away. .

Aviation officials point an accusing finger at the Ministry of Health, which they say is almost completely ignored. The officials, who are afraid to reveal their names, claim that "the Ministry of Health does not care about us, they do not count us and drag our feet."

Cyprus has announced that it is lowering Israel from category A to B. The decision means that Israelis will not be able to enter the state this coming Saturday without showing the results of negative 72-hour corona tests. Until last week, Israel was in category A, but now, following the worsening situation in Israel, Cyprus has decided to take a step back.

Cyprus is not the only one who has withdrawn from the decision to allow Israelis to arrive without restrictions. Montenegro removed Israel from the list of countries from which tourists could reach the country, after crossing the country with 25 patients per 100,000 population, which the state set as a condition for entry into its territory. South Korea, with which Israel tried to make an agreement for tourism and business purposes, has rejected the possibility of such an agreement. It is inevitable that other countries will soon remove Israel from the list of green states.

Seychelles have confirmed that Israelis will be able to enter the country as early as July, but unlike the initial announcement a month ago, it will probably be alongside another 18 states, and we may have to present negative results to the Corona review. What is encouraging is the fact that the only direct flight from Seychelles, at present, is expected to be in Israel.

"Georgia will receive Israeli tourists, but from July 1 and not mid-June, as we initially thought, and this is due to the situation in Israel," tells Israel Today, Georgia's Ambassador to Israel, Lesha Jabania, "It is currently unclear whether Israelis will have to present Negative corona testing at the entrance to the state, but this situation is certainly possible. " Georgia was one of the first states to declare that Israeli citizens would be the first to enter its territory without corona testing, but now there is a change in their decision.

Prime Minister of Greece will arrive in Israel

Greek Prime Minister Kiryakos Mitsutakis is expected to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week. At the same time, Greek airline Ajian Airlines opened the line from Athens to Tel Aviv. The meeting between the two was set at a time when the rate of the virus spread in Israel was slow, and the tourism industry depended on it in the hope of announcing an agreement that would allow tourism between the two countries. Currently, such a statement is still possible, though the odds are diminishing.

Ilan Plus, head of the Foreign Ministry's economics division and who coordinates the aviation ministry, explains: "In Israel, we all monitor the rate of disease spreading anxiously and see the new outbreak of morbidity, which affects how we look from the outside. We talk to countries last week, With Germany. We are producing the bush and the bridge and we don't want to name the day the flights start. "

In the meantime, yesterday the Ministry of Tourism launched a campaign aimed at encouraging vacation in the country, under the slogan "It's time for vacation in Israel".

The Ministry of Health said: "The ministry is partnering with the inter-ministerial headquarters on the issue of 'Opening the Sky', and a number of working meetings have been held
