More than three weeks after the death of George Floyd, that of Robert Fuller caused indignation in California. The young man was found hanging from a tree in the city of Palmdale on June 10. Ten days earlier, Malcolm Harsch was found in similar conditions some 50 km away.
Unconvinced by the thesis of suicide raised by the police, the relatives of Robert Fuller made the connection between the two dramas and advanced the thesis of a racist lynching. The absence of surveillance camera images contributes in particular to the doubts of the victim's relatives.
Pending an autopsy, they gathered in Palmdale on Sunday with dozens of people to honor his memory and call for an independent investigation.
