Android phones: Photo apparently causes problems and crashes
That sounds dubious. And of course we didn't test it ourselves. But the unusual danger actually seems to exist - the BBC also reports about it and has meanwhile spoken to the amateur photographer. He lives in San Diego and fell out of the clouds when he found out what kind of waves his photo made. He had taken it on a "magic evening" in August 2019 at St Mary Lake in Glacier National Park in Montana . And uploaded to the Flickr photo service.
According to the BBC, some Android phones were very allergic to the photo - they always turn on and off and have to be reset to factory settings , which leads to data loss. Some are affected, but not all brands with the Android 10 * operating system .

"I didn't do anything on purpose," explains the photographer. "I'm sad that people end up having these problems."
He therefore took the photo with his Nikon camera and edited it with the Lightroom program , which offers three color mode options. Some Android smartphones are very allergic to this. The BBC also consulted experts to find out the reason for the crash - to put it simply, it may have to do with the fact that the cell phones have problems correctly recognizing the color space.
