The corporation board goes against the decision to remove the plan of Kalman Libeskind and Aral Sgt from the broadcasting board and calls on the CEO of the "here" corporation to change his decision.
"Members of the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation's outgoing council, including members of the Council, continue to serve in Egypt for the download of the Kalman and Sgt. Program, without any Western public representatives discussing the public broadcasting corporation's policies and mix," the official statement said. "The change was made just hours after the announcement of the Minister of Communications about the appointment of a new council and without the approval of a council, which should approve significant changes to the broadcast schedule."
It was also noted that "public broadcasting is committed to diversifying voices and providing a platform for all opinions in Israeli society and such a change requires careful and substantive discussion.
Shortly thereafter, journalist Kalman Libeskind posted on a Twitter post claiming that, apart from the program being taken down unexpectedly, he and his friend were being served a disservice, with senior executives here "acting" against the pair of journalists behind them. "Dear senior officials in the corporation," wrote Libeskind, "You decided to drop our program? It's your right. Just do your best and stop dirtying us and talk to us about correspondence. It doesn't respect you, it doesn't respect us, it doesn't respect the workplace we all work for. at him".
