The hoped-for crowd was not waiting for him and Donald Trump's first election rally after the pandemic closures was in fact 'halved'.
Canceled a greeting speech that should have been delivered outside the Tulsa arena in Oklahoma, the president spoke inside to the few supporters present calling them 'warriors' for having defected the pandemic. He said he saved 'hundreds of lives' thanks to the tests, which he now wants to slow down. Irony about the origin of the virus he calls 'Kung flu', alluding to a hypothetical Chinese strain. Finally he denied having any health problems. The speech also mentioned Italy, referring to the anti-racist protests: "They are targeting the statues of Christopher Columbus. Instead, I tell you that I love Italy and I say thanks to the Italian people, we are very proud of it".
