A third part for Mamma Mia?

A new sequel to the hit musical is in preparation, according to producer Judy Craymer, interviewed by the Daily Mail.


Mamma Mia! It's go again. Questioned by the Daily Mail, producer Judy Craymer revealed the possible preparation of a third part of the film inspired by the musical dedicated to the group Abba.

There will certainly be another film, because we thought of the whole as a trilogy. I know Universal wants me to look into it, ”said the producer.

If no release date has been mentioned, the film could, however, reveal new titles by the Swedish group. Judy Craymer wishing to integrate the four new numbers of Abba that the musicians Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus wrote for the virtual concert that they planned with the singers Agnetha Faltskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad.

The first two components, released in 2008 and 2018 respectively, garnered hundreds of millions of dollars. Ten years later, we find Sophie alone with her husband to run the hotel and manage her pregnancy. Business is not going well. Her mother's friends then decide to tell her about Donna's love stories so that she can take seeds.

Humor, legendary titles of the Swedish group, romance ... are the ingredients that made the worldwide success of this saga punctuated by the cult songs of the famous quartet.
