Emmanuel Macron will again bring together employers and union organizations on Wednesday to discuss, among other things, partial unemployment and the reform of unemployment insurance, union sources told AFP on Monday. The meeting must be held between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The social partners are awaiting " announcements " on partial unemployment - the basic scheme and the long-term scheme known as " job retention " - unemployment insurance, vocational training, youth employment or posted work, five subjects that were discussed during consultations at the Ministry of Labor, which started on June 8. These consultations were requested by Emmanuel Macron during a previous meeting with the number one unions and employers, June 4.
The social partners hope to be fixed on the reduced activity for job retention, long-term partial unemployment which must come into force on July 1, and on the future of the unemployment insurance reform.
