Coronavirus in Argentina: 34 other deaths and 2,744 new cases reported in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health reported that 2,744 new coronavirus cases and 34 other deaths were detected in the last 24 hours. 

In the known report this morning, 12 new deaths were recorded. They were 6 men, five of 90, 53, 54, 59 and 68 years, residing in the province of Buenos Aires; one 77 years old, from Chaco; and 6 women, four of 101, 83, 94 and 88 years, from the province of Buenos Aires; and two, 64 and 57 years old, from the City of Buenos Aires (CABA).

Meanwhile, during Wednesday, 9,200 new samples were made and since the start of the outbreak, 372,108 diagnostic tests were carried out for this disease, which is equivalent to 8,200 samples per million inhabitants.

The main age groups affected by the registered cases correspond to people between 20 and 59 years of age, the average age being 36 years.

If we take the total figure since the beginning of the pandemic , 91.1% of the cases are in the Metropolitan Area.

At the same time, the total number of people recovered since the start of the pandemic in the country is 24,186 people.
