Reddit has deleted The_Donald, a forum created in 2016 by supporters of Donald Trump and which had 800,000 users describing themselves as "patriots". The_Donald was infamous for his racist and misogynist remarks, his conspiracy theories and his calls for violence and harassment. The forum moderators, volunteers and complacent, refused to act against this content in the name of freedom of expression. "So far, we have shown good will with warnings, quarantines and the like," which have been ineffective, Reddit said in a statement."It was the moderators of The_Donald who led to the closure of this forum," Benjamin Lee, legal counsel for Reddit, told American press.
