The departments concerned are Ain, Savoie, Haute-Savoie, Isère, Rhône, Loire, Haute-Loire, Ardèche and Drôme.

According to the forecaster, these thunderstorms should occur this Wednesday afternoon and in the evening. Locally strong thunderstorms accompanied by hail and gusts of wind over the Rhône-Alpes region and the Haute-Loire department.

Météo-France thus evokes gusts of between 80 and 100 km / h and heavy rain in a short time (up to 30 mm in less than an hour).

This alert is valid until Thursday 6 a.m.
