Another record is breaking tonight (Friday) in the spread of the Corona epidemic in Israel: More than 10,000 corona-verified carriers are living in Israel, according to the Ministry of Health. The Ministry of Health data released this evening shows that there are currently 10,060 active patients in Israel, of which 27 are registered. 326 people have died in the country since the outbreak of the plague.

In the last 24 hours, 1,130 new verifiers have been discovered and a particularly high number of corona tests - 24,732 tests. The alarming numbers came to Health Minister Yuli Edelstein in an interview in News 12: "Health-wise - the state needs to be shut down."

The positive test rate is 4 percent, with the last 10 days ranging from 2.5% to 4%. At the same time, the number of new Corona patients in serious condition during June was 101, compared to only 38 in May, which is almost three times higher.

The figures are published in light of the demand that the Ministry of Health impose a closure on dozens of "red cities". In those cities, data is particularly high in recent days.

In Kafr Qasem, the number of patients in the past week rose from 4 to 58 - an especially high doubling rate of 14.75. Another city that may be closed is Dimona, where the number of patients in the past week has risen from 11 to 93 - a doubling rate of 8.45.

Also in Ashdod, where morbidity data is rising alarmingly, the number of patients in the past week has risen from 134 to 417 - a doubling rate of 3.28. In Beit She'an, the number of patients rose from 8 to 39 in the past week - a doubling rate of 4.88. In Nahariya, the number of patients in the past week rose from 9 to 41, ie a doubling rate of 4.89.
